Prey On The Fallen is a Southern California based metal band that was established in 2012. Prey On The Fallen consists of Kurt Loun (Lead Vocals), Mark Bouras (Guitar), John Guy (Bass) and Mike Ikona (Drums/Percussion).

Prey On The Fallen combines classic hard-rock roots with the creativity and energy of today’s contemporary metal. This combination has resulted in new metal music that is diverse, yet always appealing. Overall, the music is heavy and exciting with an abundance of groove and a touch of melody. Kurt Loun’s vocals are incredibly strong, mesmerizing and authoritative, with a tone that is completely unique. Mark Bouras is a virtuoso guitar player that provides tight and aggressive rhythm playing in conjunction with masterful solos. Prey On The Fallen’s music is driven by a dynamic rhythm section that capitalizes on John Guy’s thundering bass capabilities and Mike Ikona’s power grooves.

All members of Prey On The Fallen are lyricists, songwriters and collaborators. As a result, the band creates metal music which is intense, thought provoking, addictive and surprisingly original. Prey On The Fallen cites their main influences as Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth, Black Label Society, Down, Rob Zombie and Paradise Lost. There is something for everyone on Prey On The Fallen’s self titled CD. The disc consists of 10 songs that range across the entire metal spectrum. “Sherman’s March” and “Prey On The Fallen” are high tempo songs which immediately gives the listener an adrenaline rush. “Complete Hypocrisy” and “Present Time” are slow, heavy grooving songs that will rattle the listener to the bone. Songs such as “WAR”, “Creed to the Greed” and “Chain Reaction” will satisfy those who like the best of both worlds. Mainstream metal fans will love the infectious songs “Vultures to Flesh” and “Last Breath”. Finally, for those who enjoy a good cover, Prey On The Fallen has transformed the iconic Eagles’ song “Hotel California” into a metal masterpiece.

Prey On The Fallen’s debut CD was recorded, produced and mixed by recording legend Ryan Greene (Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Cheap Trick, Jay Z, Usher, NOFX, Mr. Big) at Validus Recording Studios, Hollywood CA. The disc was mastered by Alan Douches (Cannibal Corpse, Otep, Holy Grail) of West West Side Music in New York. Finally, the artwork for the disc was created by award winning artist Eliran Kantor (Testament, Hatebreed, Sodom).
